Royal Bank of Scotland is pleased to announce the appointment of Kai Hunter as invoice finance Business Development Director.
Kai will be responsible for originating asset based lending and large receivables finance facilities in co-operation with Commercial and Private Banking, as well as the external market.
He joins the Royal Bank's invoice finance team after working for Close Brothers for five years, bringing with him considerable expertise in ABL, leveraged and structured finance – predominantly providing committed revolving credit facilities to corporates in the UK mid-market. Royal Bank has an appetite to structure such ABL deals and already have a portfolio of 50 sponsor-owned corporates.
Kai will be based in our Bishopsgate office in London and will be ideally located to work in collaboration with financial sponsors, debt advisors and our relationship management teams.
Kai Hunter, Business Development Director (invoice finance)
For me, the attraction of joining Royal Bank was working in a team of like-minded people where there is great potential for further ABL growth. I am looking forward to working closely with other members of the wider team to help new and existing clients achieve their goals.
Mark Cattle, Head of Invoice Finance for London:
"I welcome Kai to the team and look forward to utilising his experience. This latest level of investment in the London team further demonstrates our commitment to the ABL space."
