APT Health and Safety Training Solutions (APT) has secured a new five-year contract with Kier Group worth £10 million.
The company will provide training sessions to Kier Group employees covering first aid, health and safety management and specific industrial and construction topics.
Established in 2013, APT has enjoyed steady growth, doubling turnover from £250k to £500k in this time. Based in Hanley, the company delivers health and safety and first aid training courses to companies throughout Cheshire and the Midlands.
The new contract will see APT grow by 400% next year with turnover estimated to hit £2.5m per annum.
To support the company’s rapid expansion, our invoice financeteam has agreed a £450k factoring facility. This is designed to aid cash flow and fund growth.
Gareth Jones, Managing Director at APT:
"Winning the contract with Kier Group is a real achievement. We started APT two years ago and in that time have secured a number of good contracts for the company. This latest win will really propel our growth and take us to the next stage.
"The support we have received from Royal Bank has played a key role in enabling us to bid for and take on this contract. The factoring facility is supporting our growth brilliantly, helping us to maintain a healthy cash flow whilst the business continues to expand."
John Anderson, Relationship Manager (invoice finance team):
"I am pleased that we have been able to support Gareth and the team at APT. Winning the contract with Kier Group is a significant step for the company. It's great to be working alongside the business, ensuring it is adequately funded to secure its long term growth."
