The most significant part of our international focus is in assisting businesses with their overseas trade whether directly exporting from the UK to overseas markets or where they have businesses established in overseas territories. Increasingly however, and as RBS develops its global reach, RBS Invoice Finance is developing ways to assist businesses and financial institutions overseas, both in the emerging markets as well as the more developed markets which are geographically distant from their customers in the UK and Europe. These businesses have the same concerns as UK exporters in relation to customer risk issues, language difficulties and the collections of monies outstanding.

We are able to provide our services either directly to those overseas exporters by agreeing credit limits on new and existing customers over here, collecting amounts due and repatriating those funds directly to the exporter or alternatively providing our FacFlow client interface to a local finance provider enabling them to make working capital facilities available locally.

How bad debt protection works

Designed to complement our collection services, bad debt protection is an affordable solution that mitigates the impact of bad debts; typically credit limits cover 100% of agreed credit limits on the formal insolvency of a customer, giving certainty of payment when things go wrong. The service can put you ahead of your competitors, allowing you to take on more customers in new or existing markets and grow with confidence.

FacFlow

Our FacFlow service is available to overseas businesses and Financial institutions and provides a comprehensive platform to manage your Credit limits and track payments of invoices.
